My tiel Bernie has just broken a blood feather. I pulled it out and it is bleeding pretty good. It seems to have clotted up some but he keeps fooling with it and starting it to bleeding again.
Is there anything I can do to help stop the bleeding?

You must be absolutely certain that when you pulled that feather, you pulled
it all out. It isn't unusual for a bird to pick at where it's feather used
to be but, if Bernie is continuously picking to the extent that he's
irritating the folical, it needs to be checked by an avian vet. Keep a
close eye on him and hopefully he'll be okay, just be aware that it could
become infected if not attended to.
