Hi,
I have a 1 1/2 year old female cockatiel named Chicken. She has been flying around for about nine months now. My question is, will having her wings clipped now pose too much of an emotional stress to her? I would like to have her wings clipped, but if it will freak her out, I won't do it.

Dear Mike,

We can appreciate your dilemma, but clipping the wings would certainly be less stressful for you both than her possibly escaping or flying into a window (or worse).
