Hello. What is your opinion about using disinfectants, such as
Vanodine, Nolvasan, etc.,
in a bird's drinking water, especially when several share the same bowl, to
help fight off/eliminate
harmful bacteria? Thanks.

Dear Chrys,
I have, on occasion, added disinfectant (a few drops of Nolvasan or plain bleach) to water bottles. I don't use it in
the bowls; I find if I change them daily and use antibacterial soap followed
by bleach and a good rinse, I have no problems.
