I have a female cockatiel named "Princess". I am breeding her with a male named "Peanut". This is her third time at laying eggs. This will be the first egg this time and I think she may have egg binding. Can you give me some of the symptoms and info on how to help her?
Thanks,
Pat
Pat,
An egg bound hen will sit on the bottom of the cage fluffed up and sometimes
with their wings spread out.
If you think your hen is egg bound, you need to get her to an avian vet ASAP. Until you get to the vet, provide her with extra heat.
