We have taken a pair of 'tiels that where not well cared for. The male called Spike has a mean streak. But he is coming around. The thing is he is always shaky -- is this a sign of a diet problem or maybe a vitamin problem? I don't think the birds got the proper feed at their former home.

Spike may have problems due to his diet, or it could be other things. It would be in your and both birds' best interest to have a vet give them a full examination.
