I have a gray (female) cockatiel that does not stand; she sort of squats and she has been this way since I bought her 4 weeks ago. She is now 6 weeks old. What do you think caused this?

From the numbers you have given us, your bird was only two weeks old when you
bought her. To us that means that you or perhaps someone else in your home has
been handfeeding it since it's arrival. Handfeeding is almost an art and when it
isn't performed properly, it can cause the bird to have problems digesting.
Our best guess is it either has an impacted
or sour crop and should be seen by a vet immediately.
