Sunflower Seeds

I was told at a pet supply place that sunflower seeds were not recommended for cockatiels. Yet most of the seed I see for them has sunflower seeds in it. Was is your opinion?

Sunflower seeds are high in fat and should only be fed in moderation. For some reason almost all the major seed companies put way too many sunflower seeds in their mixes.
